OT "Vista" is gonna have many people following the upgrade train again... 9993On Sun, 31 Jul 2005 11:41:32 -0400, DFS You say you're not a troll, yet here you are again, calling us Loonix loons, which is a silly, trolling insult. Vista" is gonna have many people following the upgrade train again... 9994 There are a few things I have already found interesting and amusing. First is that they have FINALLY... And? And? Of course, one... And there you are again, sneering at the Linux community. And you still say you're not a troll. Pardon me if I don't believe you. Notice what? That some people like to try different things? As a matter of fact, I like trying new distros from time to time, just for the fun of it. Right now I'm running SUSE Pro 9.2, Mandrake 10.1, Mandrake 9.1, and Arklinux. *Trolls* call it the distro shuffle, because they have no cencept of the fact that some people like to try new things while others like to stick to the familiar. Take me and my brother. I've tried a good dozen distros, both mainstream and small-scale. He's only ever been a RedHat-Fedora user. Yet when it comes to food, I stick to meat and two veg, while he goes for all kinds of different cuisine. Each distro, however large or small, has its own 'feel', it's own outlook. They concentrate on different aspects of the desktop, appeal to different types of users, offer different kinds of user experiences. What's in any way startling that some users like to vary their desktops in this way, while others don't? Wintrolls love to portray this is a negative light, without any real reason to do so. -- Kier
