At last MS is safe, we've waited long enough for it to happen but worth the wait. Free of all virus's at last, I'm glad, because there will always be people who prefer MS Win to any other OS and personally I don't have a problem with that. MS Win was built for a purpose and that purpose is still valid. We can all breath a great sigh of relief that the wars are over. Can slap each other on the back and say nice things instead of nasty things. We can even have conventions every year where we end up calling the war years the old old days. I'll nip out now and pick up a bottle of champers.

Oh, hang on, we may not be quite out of the woods yet, maybe we were wrong to use one single MS Win machine to base our virus statistics on.

But you are right, successful malicious attacks are going down. Only comes to $13billion compared with previous years hitting the $17billion mark. Hardly worth worrying about is it.

plus because they give the name of the company that was infected or reported the hit, then I sort of trust them a bit more than those off anti-virus venfors who you always feel would benefit from exagerating the problam.

If I were you I would nip out and get an Anti-virus just in case.
