Oh, so DooFu$ is saying the BBC & Symantec lies:- "25.2% of all the zombie machines it found were in the UK compared to 24.6% in the US and 7.8% in China." -- 22 March, 2005 -- COTSE.net, no doubt lies too:- "On an average day we see 30,000-100,000 zombied machines attempting to send us spam via a dictionary attack." The firm's research also has revealed that more than 30% of spam is sent by spammers who use Trojan horses and worms to take over computers and use them as spam engines, a practice that likely accounts for much of the spam originating in the United States. Sophos says the technique is especially popular among spammers in Russia, which ranked 28th in the research done last week but would have placed much higher if all the spam sent via compromised computers could be traced to spammers there." There are lots more examples too. So, are these above companies also "cola loudmouth crazies" too? Maybe in the mind of DFS, they are. Which has a NAT firewall, which is probably linux. AH,HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...........etc. *That* was funny! -- If a cell phone call was to fall into a black hole, would it be a cingularity? Could Linux be more in use than IDC or Gartner think 6808 mlw ... What about those of us who will be using more than 1 OS next year: I'm intending to rejig my home network slightly so that my usage with be spread more evenly...
