Stoll harping on Mandrake 7.x? FWIW, let's put this into context. I purchased MD and thought it was reasonable. I copied it and gave it to 3 people whom I thought might like it. An update arrived in the mail that trashed my entire system. I returned MD and asked for my money back and advised the others to stop using it. So?
