Register says DFS is wrong
On Thu, 17 Feb 2005 11:02:58 +0000, Kier Yes, that's his atbreastude, & it sucks. Possibly. Need advice Linux vendors 68 plus 16 Thanks for the recommendation. I was suprised how many companies are selling linux systems nationally and internationally. Trouble is so many of these... DFS says everyone lies, but him. I don't recall seeing anyone so deluded. He was funny reading to start with, then he got boring. Now he just seems to repeat the same old drivel over & over. I can appreciate why he has a dual processor machine then. Spike1's post explains what it is. :-) Yup! ;-) Or in some circumstances, you could use YAFF (You Are A f***wit). Going Linux Certified We just got in a Linux Certified machine. This beast runs smooth and fast, details below. This is nice way to go from Windows 2 Linux. Most issues I have had...
Yes, indeed. I quite agree. Yes, & as an example; my partner used M$ Office. She had a copy on her 2k machine, but when she got XP (because of her job) she'd had to get *another* version licence for it. I suggested OO, & after trying it on her SuSE machine, she downloaded windows OO & dumped M$ Office. I'd saved her another M$ tax! So now I can happily swap OOo documents & spreadsheets with my her without any problems. "Which is nice" :-) Yes, I've noticed. Funny isn't it, DFS says he's right & everyone else is wrong. Now what does *that* tell you..... -- M$ R.I.P ? Linux v Windows - The REAL facts
