Should Suse Users abandon KDE ! 1662On Sat, 12 Mar 2005 17:39:58 -0500, Hannah Boaz Which is okay, but you might get flamed a bit becasue you doj't make it obvious that you've been here a while. If you have, you should know what's going on. Should Suse Users abandon KDE ! Not for now Jensen, and all: a a user I am using... both... and frakly if I find great value for both Gnome and... That's true. But it has very negative connotations here, I'm afraid. Agreed. He-it is a complete wanker. There's a first 1665 rapskat Out of curiosity, what brand was the card? I had the same thing happen with a two year old Nvidia GeForce 2 MX... Ah, well, that's the question. Bailo nymshifts so often it's hard to give you a definitive answer. But if you see www.texeme, or something like it ant the bottom of a post, it's bailo (sorry I can't be more specific, I killfile the idiiot as soon as I spot him). He has a fairly distinctive style, which after some time you may learn to recognise. That's a sensible admission, IMO. Basically, if you have a newsreader that will kill posters you don't wish to read, you just 'kill' (plonk) them. It's really up to you who you choose to read or ignore. I'd agree with that, to be honest. It's a convention that some groups-mailing lists seem to follow, while others don't. Some lists I but this may only be a convention in mailing lists and not all Usenet groups, I don't actually know. I usually go along with whatever is accepted by the group I'm in, unless I know different There's no one 'good' or 'bad' time. Posters come and go according to their personal circumstances. I post here quite a lot, these days, but a couple of years ago I was posting mainly to private mailing lists, on a completely different topic. -- Kier
