Hardly. All systems have bugs, and no developer can foresee all the conditions their programs will...

There is alot of talk from the anti-LGX-OSS factions in this group about all the supposed security vulnerabilities with Linux and buttociated apps.

Well, a couple of months ago I requested these persons to provide me an example of just ONE active, in the wild, fully remote unpatched exploit for Linux et al. Like the kind that get released almost every week for Windows and compromise various Windows boxen.

I'm still waiting for a response.

It may sound real convincing to hear M$ and its affiliates talk about how Linux isn't any more, or even less, secure than Windows is, but conjecture always has to take a backseat to actual REAL WORLD examples.

From what I see, Linux is mulbreastudes more secure than any version of Windows, especially for someone without much computer experience. You don't hear about clusters of zombied Linux boxen for lease, or hear how Linux worms are bringing the internet to a crawl, or see 0wn3d Linux boxen churning out mbuttes of spam on a regular basis, or experience Linux systems being bogged down by mbuttes of spyware and adware. For all this talk of how "insecure" Linux supposedly is, I don't see any REAL WORLD proof of this at all, despite the millions of sweet Linux systems that are constantly connected to the internet.

So, anti-factions, where is it? Take your time, I can wait.
