True... Of course, Paul Rodgers is no amateur - and from what I've heard, he does the traditional Queen songs quite well - but in my opinion the only one who could "possibly" replace Freddie in terms of vocal range was George Michael, as much as I dislike the guy. The version of "Somebody To Love" by Queen with George Michael was very good. In fact, it was so good that I was actually surprised. As I said, I don't normally like the guy. I figure that Brian May will also be singing some of the traditional songs. He's done so before and while he is no Freddie, he's got a good voice. He's also a brilliant guitarist, of course, using his self-built Red Special guitar, his Vox amplifiers with treble booster and delay effects and plucking the strings either with his fingers or with an old English sixpence. ;-) He wouldn't have been the bandleader on the same stage with Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Nuno Bettencourt and Joe Walsh in Sevilla in 1992 if he hadn't been. ;-) -- With kind regards, *Aragorn* (Registered GNU-Linux user #223157)
