The Reasons I hate Open Source Software and Love MS
The Reasons I hate Open Source Software and Love MS. 598 OK. I would guess that it also controls the look and feel of the close print dialog - for those programs that... Those who rely on Open Source software always seem to get burned. When I was a redhat RHN customer in the 7.x days, they burned me by discontinuing support for my boxed set which I paid money for. I then paid additional money to be a RHN member which they dropped shortly afterwards. So I spent $179 dollars on the Redhat 7.x Professional boxed set and then some more on RHN. They dropped a "professional" products support in less than a year and a half EVEN THOUGH you had to pay to be on RHN! I was stuck with a worthless "professional" boxed set. That is when I became angry and knew Linux was crap. They made a fool out of me in front of my boss for recommending Linux. Well, never again, because you can only fool me once. I looked at Microsoft and Apple's track record of providing support. MS gives you 7 years of free updates. Actually, Windows 95 could have become Windows 98 almost if you applied all the updates available for free. I almost got fired from my job when we switched to Redhat and they discontinued supporting Redhat Linux 7.x. The Reasons I hate Open Source Software and Love MS. 597 Snit From "A Practical Guide to RedHat Linux 8" by Mark G. Sobell: "A desktop manager is a picture-oriented user interface to system services (commands). It... Now once again it is happening with Mozilla. All those fools who recommended companies switch from IE are about to get burned quite badly. Maybe even as badly as those who recommended RHN and Linux. It looks like Mozilla cannot find people to work for free on the 1.8 version. No one wants to take responsiblity for it. Eventually, like communism, the Open Source model collapses as people discover they need to feed their families. Open Source, like communism, doesn't reward creating goods that people want. Sure, you may get just the basic necessaties like food or in this case a basic OS and browser (which cannot run many Windows Applications). What we are about to witness is the collapse of the Mozilla browser creation process. Just like the berlin wall, Mozilla is teetering on the brink of collapse. The facts are on the Mozilla newsgroups and right here in this article: If you don't like MS, you can always get a Mac like Linus Torvalds did.
