What nonsense? The world gave them that monopoly based on the quality of their software products. There was never any guarantee anybody would purchase IBM PCs. There was never any guarantee Windows 3.0 would be a huge hit. They teed it up and drove it down the middle. Over and over for nearly 20 years.
