Problem. Knoppix (the CD anyway) doesn't come with manpages... something to do with the space constraints. Haven't looked at the DVD too closely yet, maybe time I did.
I've been around some networks and found (prime example: #linux on irc.undernet.org) more arseholes than the toilets of this nation can handle. Prolly time to start my own channel...
