Why Linux works for some, and Windows works for others 168 plus 116rapskat Who knows how Dell structured the pricing? Undoubtedly I paid something for the EasyCD software. That's why I said "free" in quotes.
To the tune of how much?
If you're implying Windows or Windows apps or closed source products are bad, you're lying. Tens of millions of people are more than willing to buy the best software in the world, and give free Linux nothing more than a curious glance before heading off to Windows app- and game-land.
If you say so.
Linux is incompetent when it comes to itself. It has SO MANY little bullpoo bugs, over and over, everywhere throughout the system. Example: a little while ago I told KDE to save my root pbuttword when I was changing the clock. It worked several times, as launching the clock applet bypbutted the pbuttword box. But lo and behold, 5 minutes later I all of a sudden have to enter the root pbuttword again. Or shutting down a game (Chromium B.S.U.) will also shut down the CD playing that was launched before the game.
Which is why cola bozos spend so much time on their Linux advocacy newsgroup unpleasant womaning about MS and Windows and Bill Gates.
Hey, did it hurt when you just shot yourself in the foot? The screen-blanking issue (which Windows doesn't have) is much more realistic and exemplary of Linux problems than is a totally unrealistic 9 videos and CD burning at the same time in Linux (which of course I can do in Windows with ease).

Another lie.
