Your correct, Windows doesn't support DVD burning with out 3rd party software in this release. Longhorn will. Fact is, and...

IMO Windows is pretty poo, office is not so bad, but it sort of disappoints me when I receive a file and am told by my office app I need to buy the latest version because the file sent to me was prepared in the latest version. I get even more upset when I get the latest version and there is nothing in that document that could not have been described or rendered by the version I used to have. However, it is not really an MS problem, it is the fools in my company that cannot realise this cycle and they are simply being taxed to share information. If customer power existed then free access to their own information would be a demand. MS would have to sell product on a value-for-money basis and not lock-in.

For some reason you subscribe to their strategy and spend time knocking the compebreastion - why? Why not just play with your toy OS? Why does you install various distros? Windows is perfect for you, carry on with your toy OS and leave.
