Why use Open Source when Microsoft products are so cheap... 10016
The Ghost In The Machine Why would I have to quantify it? My quantification is not your quantification.
Why use Open Source when Microsoft products are so cheap... 10017 snips You have to quantify it because "slow" is meaningless. I've worked on codebases where, despite... Munged is not acceptable. Munged does not translate well to a slide show for the boss.
You're smart - I knew if you thought long enough you could figure that one out.
Is it a romance novel?
Slightly revolting...
My version has a big watermark always visible; it says 'IDEAS AND MENUS COURTESY OF MS OFFICE'. They (Calc and Writer) look much better than on Linux. Fonts are sharper. Spacing is better. They launch and run a little quicker, too.
The fixed version won't install on my wonderful, Windows OS. So I just suffer with killfiling the few 'begin 'ners. They don't say anything worth reading anyway.
Why did you thrin that?
Non-profits, churches, students, various charitable organizations, haters of MS, etc. OO has a role to play in the world.
And watch it be destroyed. I opened a large business requirements .doc several months ago in OO. It rendered it useless without hours of work reformatting, realigning, sizing, moving things back in place, etc.
Are they listening? Hello?
