It's obvious that was hyperbole to express a point. Fact of the matter is, Windows does crash - anyone who says it doesn't is full of it. Everyone knows Windows crashes spontaneously and arbitrarily for various reasons, or sometimes no apparent reason at all.

It will be running just great for days and then...oops! Oh well, no biggie, just reboot it and start over again is the mentality.

This is what I mean when I say Windows fosters lowered standards amongst computer users. The fact of the matter is that a properly configured system on good hardware should NEVER crash, regardless of how hard it is worked, how long it has been up, how manyy days have pbutted since the last defrag, etc. Never....Period, end of story.

That's not to say that user apps won't take a powder, they certainly do. But the platform itself should always be stable.

begin oeprotect.scr None of the major NEPs-manufacturers are offering IVR on Windows, and I'm not sure that even minor ones do it very much. vxworks is more popular...
