I realize that, as an "informal" Orthodox Christian, I am probably in error on a few of Orthodox doctrines, but I have been very careful to only state Orthodox doctrines which are published on the Internet, where anyone can find them.
I am in no way "arguing" or attempting to "reason" with anyone. I do not claim to be either a theologian, or an apologist for the Christian faith.

These are my motives for posting in any newsgroup, no matter what group it is.
When I used Yahoo Chat, I usually visited the "Christian" chat rooms on a daily basis, since the communication process was much easier.
Since I use a Mac (PowerMac G5), I choose to read and post in Mac newsgroups. That I sometimes address issues of spirituality which come up in the groups is totally an accident of the conversation which goes on in these groups. If you infidels would not publically lie about Christianity, I would not say a word in defense of the truth. What you do in your own home is your business. But it becomes PUBLIC business when you speak of it IN PUBLIC, especially since these groups are NOT moderated. Until they are, I will continue to post as I have in the past.
Now, George, either leave Christianity alone, or kill-file me. Either way, I will continue as I have in the past.
I personally hate atheism and any other form of anti-Christianity with every fibre of my being. But I am usually able to keep quiet, since Christ Himself suffered in silence while He was being tried by the Romans. If a person acts hatefully toward me, I will attempt to educate him in the Christian faith, as Christ commands me. I butture you, I will continue to obey Christ in this matter. The only way you will be able to stop me will be to show just how unprincipled you truly are, and attack me personally (however you desire).
However, your atheism does not harm me in any way. Yet.
The day will come when those such as yourself will just stop recognising the laws governing "free speech", and take it upon yourselves to physically shut us up, since none of you respect Law, unless it suits your purposes, whatever they are.
Until then, you must suffer the consequences of living in a "free" society, and use the tools you have on hand to fight against Christianity. So either kill-file me, or kill my body. Because I am just as stubborn as you are, and those two methods are the only two which are going to work to shut me up. And even then, I will continue to speak to your heart, since you will remember what I have said.
Perhaps there is ONE person who wants to hear what I have to say. If that is so, then I have succeeded as a witness of Christ's sufferings.
