You're f_cked if you can't consume less and be more productive

Never would I describe that as, as you say, a kick in the groin. It wasn't what I wanted at the time, but it was, in the end, a blessing, just as both my ex and I knew it would be.

Selfcontrol is my goal, I make little effort to control others, I just try to be good to everyone, regardless, perhaps that's what made me such an ineffectual father.

I give money to hardcore junkies-gamblers-nutjobs, if you can believe that, these people will never, could never, pay me back.

Similarly, others treat me well and get nothing in return, so maybe it all balances out in the end, I don't know or care.

You said that even though you think welfare mostly benefits politicians and makes people lazy, you're happy to pay taxes anyways and then you concluded by saying:

I wish you well and I'll continue paying taxes to help.

That's fine, I have no beef with capitalists per se, it doesn't matter how large or small your income-netbuttets are, you're f***ed if you can't consume less and be more productive.

e.g. I was complaining about MicroSoft's 70 billion in cash long before they ever started doing something about it.

But, speaking of that, MS is too Dellcentric, in my opinion. I'd rather that it reduced the cost of retailWindowsXPPro, which sells for 300 USD at my local store, instead of paying out dividends.
