Except of course that you *can* yell fire in a theater, if there is no fire, you can be held accountable for the damage done. That is how it works. If your actions damage another, then you are held accountable, and if you lack a valid defence, may be held to account also. A whistle blower may "damage" a company's stock price, but he has a valid defence, and no damages accrue, a stock manipulation scammer, may do exactly the same action, yet he can be held accountable.
In other words, you are all for it that everyone has the "freedom of speech...

Exactly how does impersonating someone, and being anonymous dovetail? Being anonymous is not a bad thing in and of itself. After all, you may *call* yourself Peter Koehlman, but that means little without some form of ID system in place. How do I know you aren't Joe Ratattoie from Poughkeepsie? I don't. It doesn't matter either way, but that's the fact of it. What you are leading to, is a controlled net system, where people have to get authorization to log on and post or email. No thanks. I'd far rather deal with the scumbags like K'ditty or the like, than be dodging the f***ing gestapo online as well as off.
I don't know if you enjoy creating strawmen, or just feel that doing so is a nice break from peurile insults, but you *can* cry fire in a theater, you had better be prepared to put up with the results however.
