3 Days Wasted Trying To Make Linux Work

To those thinking that free software is some kind of holy grail, think again. I have just spent 3 days trying to get SUSE Linux to work and I have finally given up, not on Linux but on SUSE. So now I try Fedora Core 5 and that one is even worse. Boot and all I get is Grub error 15.........................

BTW my Windows disk no longer exists because Fedora decided to format the parbreastion. Way to go Linux.

On to Ubuntu. Hey this one is a real pip. Wouldn't even boot on my system cause it kept complaining about Nvidia, this and that. What's an Nvidia anyway?

So then someone suggested Gentu. Holy poo! What a nightmare that one is. I think Gentu is something a psycho would use if they wanted to design software. I didn't make it past page one of their user guide.

Not being discouraged I moved on to pclinuxos and followed the help file to the letter.

I was met with 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 when I rebooted.

Finally I just gave up and restored my Windows XP system.

Linux?

Who the f*** do these Linux people think they are kidding? Do they think typical everyday people will be able to install this crap?
