Convince the mbuttes that a free operating system is better than one that they are willing to fork over $200 or more for.

Face it, if Linux were that good, people would be flocking to it because theyt could save a fortune in application and operating system costs.

The fact is , Linux stinks and badly at that.

Look at it this way: I use Nuendo to run my studio and with all the plugins it cost me around $2000 or so. If Protools or Logic were given away for FREE guess what I would NOT be using????? Right. Nuendo.

Yet, here we have Linux which is given away every day and yet it is totally ignored by anyone other than a geek server admin or some engineer writing embedded device programs.

Maybe it's time for the Linux people to face the facts that the mbuttes simply are not interested in Linux? Interesting concept huh? Yet that is what the data proves.

Let's say Panasonic DVD players were free and every other brand charged money, do you think anyone other than a complete idiot would pay for a DVD player?

Yet we have Linux, free for the taking and not many other than geeks and server freaks are biting. Why?

Let's go one step further. Suppose Microsoft GAVE AWAY VISTA for the first 7 days, for free? There would be riots in the streets. Yet, Linux is free everyday and according to the tinfoil types is better than Windows.

So? Where is this rush to Linux? I certainly don't see it.
