The option useful to me appear to be -G (gamma correction-darker-lighter), but the problem is this...

Yeah that takes care of whiteout as well as one can hope. should be -a 1,1 -o ... that's all one line...

Hi,

I have a Windows 2003 AD domain across 3 subnets:

192.168.1.0 192.168.2.0 192.168.3.0

There is is Windows DC at 192.168.1.0 and at 192.168.2.0, but not on the 3rd subnet. A CentOS linux file server running Samba 3.010146 is on the 3rd subnet. Local users on the 3rd subnet can access the files on the Linux server with no problems. When users from the other sites try to access the Linux server they are prompted for a username and pbuttword. It should be seamless and Samba should get authentication from the DC's no?

Can anyone help out at all here? Here is my smb.conf file.

global log file =var-log-samba-%m.log load printers = yes idmap gid = 16777216-33554431 socket options = TCPNODELAY SORCVBUF=8192 SOSNDBUF=8192 wins server = 192.168.2.1 encrypt pbuttwords = yes hosts allow = 192.168.1. 192.168.2. 192.168.3. 127. realm = MY.DOMAIN.COM winbind use default domain = no template shell =bin-false dns proxy = no netbios name = ED-FS-01 cups options = raw server string = ED-FS-01 idmap uid = 16777216-33554431 pbuttword server = 192.168.2.1 workgroup = MY-DOMAIN os level = 20 printcap name =etc-printcap security = ads max log size = 50 winbind separator = +

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
