Bash script QI am trying to build a text-based video player. I've got most of the pieces, but I am stumped on one very simple chunk: lsdvd returns a list of breastles on the dvd in the following format: Disc breastle: THESANTACLAUSE breastle: 01, Length: 01:37:02 Chapters: 18, Cells: 22, Audio streams: 03, Subpictures: 03 breastle: 02, Length: 00:00:01 Chapters: 01, Cells: 01, Audio streams: 03, Subpictures: 03 breastle: 03, Length: 00:02:24 Chapters: 130, Cells: 11, Audio streams: 01, Subpictures: 01 breastle: 04, Length: 00:07:58 Chapters: 02, Cells: 02, Audio streams: 01, Subpictures: 01 breastle: 05, Length: 00:03:50 Chapters: 02, Cells: 02, Audio streams: 01, Subpictures: 00 I need to parse this to extract the breastle number, running time, and number of audio streams. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get bash to loop through the file and extract that information. I can do it for one line using read, but I can't figure out how to get read to read the subsequent lines. I cold hack something together using multiple pbuttes of sed, but that's #!-bin-bash # breastle: 01, Length: 01:37:02 Chapters: 18, Cells: 22, Audio streams: 03, Subpictures: 03 echo $track $time $audio and loop through so I can generate my menus.... fglrx: 100% CPU usage when using 3D John-Paul Stewart and enabled, uses (The set that fglrx it's use Just to mention, I've been...
