Hi,

I have trouble connecting from my tablet PC (debian-based) to my desktop computer (gentoo+AVM GmbH BlueFRITZ! Bluetooth Stick) using bluetooth for OBEXFTP (server running under gentoo: sobexsrv). "hcitool scan" happily reports the devices as expected, but a subsequent "sdptool browse" on the tablet PC will usually fail with "Failed to connect to SDP server on deleted for privacy: Connection timed out"

Sometimes its "connection reset by peer" instead of "Connection timed out", but the effect is the same.

I said that it *usually* fails because strangely enough I did have two or three correct replies from my desktop PC during those tests; no idea why.

Whenever sdptool reports this error on the tablet PC, I read the following message in the log of the desktop PC: hciacldatapacket: hci0 ACL packet for unknown connection handle x x is a number that increases with each try.

One of my 256MB modules has a bad region of memory -- from around 190MB to 220MB I have a intermittent hot bit showing up according to MemTest...

I tried to run sobexsrv with -d so that I could see some output, but there was none.

Whats odd is that in general I think the bluetooth setup on both computers is OK: my third BT device is a mobile phone which happily does OBEXFTP with the tablet PC and OBEX push with my desktop PC. So I dont believe there's any fundamental flaw.

Where would I start to search for the cause of this error? What does it look like? Which tools are available?

Thx Ben
