Mike Rivers Go here and download it. So you don't know, but yet Linux is not professional...

Bit Twister

I'm inclined to not even answer - and as BT points out -- "don't feel like..." is not a proper response for someone seeking help.

precisely BT :-)

Since your posted link (JPEG) *does* show Grub at the top (but I certainly understand why others may refuse to even d-l or view an image, as there are exploits that can occur - and besides MANY ppl on UseNET do NOT even use browsers to read articles on NGs) - But - I'll point you in the direction you need to go;

In Debian (dont know about RHEL) but there's a file here;boot-grub-menu.lst that needs editing - Remove the entry for whichever (the smp kernel I suppose) entry you want to remove. Use a text based editor, such as Vim, Pico, or what I use Nano to edit the file. You need root privileges to successfully edit this file...I use this command in KDE's Konsole;

$ sudo nanoboot-grub-menu.lst

Open an xterm or whatver console you prefer and;

Frankly, no, but if you'll provide me with a fully working Linux system with a really good audio application on it, I'll be happy to check...

$ catboot-grub-menu.lst to display the contents of the file (if it exists on RHEL)

IIRC, RHEL may store this file (Grub Config info) in a file calledboot-grub.conf orboot-grub-grub.conf or similar - I'm not sure - check it out

'man grub' - or hammer on that meat :-)

Regards
