the following words to the mbuttes incomp.os.linux.misc...: What you are saying makes no sense. First of all, you removed...

This alias has no posting history. I won't be reading any articles posted under it, nor any responses to them. It has been killscored here.

And the person hiding behind it is as dumb as a brick: I've been posting the URL to a free Challenge-Response System for Linux, right here, for the last week, that I use myself, and anyone can find others (more sophisticated ones) on the Web with a search engine.

Or use the most basic sort, found at this site:

(It's okay if your MSP does a good job of filtering out most of the spam for you.)

That page was my original inspiration.

This is from the page's intro:

# Please be forewarned that there is a hot opposition to the C-R (challenge-response) email filtering concepts, best observed in the Usenet newsgroups news.admin.net-abuse.email and comp.mail.misc. The method even makes a curious, inaccurate appearance on a personal hate page.

Here's exactly what I get when I type fdisk in Linux; bear in mind I don't have any important data, don't need to save the Linux...

I'll bet that "personal hate page" is this:

I've never looked at the page because I don't read trollpoo if I can help it.

tells me that it is still there.

As for the "hot opposition" on those two newgroups? Who gives a tinker's dam what a bunch of poo-for-brains trolls and spammers think or post?

Alan Connor Hey Alan - just for kicks I waited for your response...and I've come to the conclusion your news feed sux. My numbers (below...

If they don't like CRSs they can kiss my butt.

Nor do you particularly need a special program for Linux. Earthlink and other MSPs offer web-based Challenge-Response Systems for all of their users.

No. I won't answer any questions about my program on the Usenet.

You'll have to mail me. And if you don't use your real return address, I'll never know you even tried to mail me.

I use a Challenge-Response System :-)

See the contact page on my website if you really want to talk to me.

No time for dung-for-brains trolls with their Mommy's computers who get their tiny rocks off jerking people around on the Usenet or sending sophomoric abuse through the mails.
