Commands updatedb and locate are unrecognized 4470Michael Heiming It got up around 95F (35C) in my room this afternoon: no A.C. Inside my main box it hit 53C, with the processors around 57C with the fans going very fast. There are 13 fans in the box, including 2 in series in the power supply, Sounds like a jet plane taking off when it gets hot (many of the fan speeds are temperature controlled, such as those on the processors). CPU0 fan: 5625 RPM (min = 375 RPM, div = 8) CPU1 fan: 4963 RPM (min = 375 RPM, div = 8) System: +53C (limit = +50C, hysteresis = +48C) sensor = thermistor CPU0: +56.5C (limit = +60C, hysteresis = +58C) sensor = thermistor CPU1: +57.0C (limit = +60C, hysteresis = +58C) sensor = thermistor My SCSI hard drives are in the top of the full tower with two intake fans blowing on them and two exhaust fans taking air out. The power supply, tape drive, cd-rom drive, and floppy drive are up there too. Three intake fans and an exhaust fan are in the bottom. The air coming out from the SCSI hard drive area is noticeably warm, but not hot. Air coming out of the power supply is very warm and the 90mm exhaust fan on the bottom is quite warm too. 2 programmers I do not suppose a spelling checker would help you, but it is difficult to parse your posting. This is possibly a legal question that can be answered only in... Odd networking problem Symptom: Only one of the interfaces can contact IP adresses outside of the local machine.
