YLaptopMV though; even IBM uses the cheapest parts that it can find at any given time, so your machine may have a card in it that isn't an orinoco. "-sbin-lspci -v" will tell you exactly what's on the PCI bus, so someone may ask you to provide the output of that command later. Laptops are (usually) more difficult than desktops, because they have weirder hardware in them.
