Something we could base our reasoning on. Idea: Tell in what way your kernel config is different from plain vanilla. (But I suspect it isn't so relevant in this particular case.) Idea: Drop telling us about the 100ed tries, unless you are also prepared to tell what you tried and what the outcome was. Some of the thinking behind the tries may also be usefull, provided that does not replace the actual facts and results.
