Thanks. You understood perfectly. I do not mind any one. Everyone here is warmhearted. Thanks in advance. I am a linux newbie. Some question of mine may be too easy to answer. Please don't mind and don't laugh at me. Especially my English isn't great. Perhaps use the word "poor" to discribe my capability is more exact. When I ask the inherent player dose not support MP3, what should I do. I don't need a answer that to get a new one. I want someone tell me which one? the one should be more popular. It may support many file type. For example, a player I use on windows which named StormCodec can play Real、QuickTime、MPEG-2、MPEG-4 (DivX-XviD-3ivx、MP4、AVC-H264...)、AC3-DTS、ratDVD、VP3-6-7、Indeo、XVD、Theora、OGG-OGM、Matroska、APE、FLAC、TTA、AAC、MPC、Voxware、3GP-AMR、TTL2. File size of this player only 20000K. Can I ger a player like that or install codes(how to)? Sorry, do not mistake my mean. I never menet to complain FC4. I really need a help. Because my thoughts were tied to Windows yet.

snipped repository definitions I was not aware of yumex, I always used yum. Now I just installed it and used it to do an update. ("yum update" dowloads and installs...

Just like Dances With Crows wrote, a large chunk of my disk space devoted entirely to Windows that's formatted NTFS. I defrag every parttion per month. I find NTFS parttions are much faster than ohters. So not long ago I converted all parttions to NTFS parttions. But this is temporary, I use Windows in most of my work before I can use FC4 skillfully.

About wine, I wanta how to config can wine more soft of windows.

Cheers
