Thanks for the URL to the linux document project.

However I was after something that would take me 30 seconds not really some guide that rambles on and on and has you hacking files left right centre.

Turns out what I was looking for was:

Select File Sharing and 'add a folder', use the UI to quickly configure.

Go to other PC navigate using Konqueror Copy Paste JOB DONE!

Great big long winded HowTo's are great when you have several hours to spend understanding the nuts and bolts, but they drive me absolutely nuts when I am in a hurry and all I want is to get the job done and move onto the next thing that I need to do. I just want something that is 'quick and easy and cuts to chase'.

Legal Stuff - Don't care NOT interested How NFS works - Not interested at the moment all I want to do is move a couple of files, don't care how it works, just tell me the minimum I need to know to make it it work and get the job done!
