Um, think again. Konqueror knows that is one of 2 invalid characters use Konqueror's rename function to create a file with in its name. The filename record in the filesystem contains '%2f' not '-'. Konq translates the %2f to when it displays the file in its GUI. It isn't possible to create a file with or ASCII NUL in its name on a Linux system, unless you edit the raw filesystem, and at that point, fsck will probably get annoyed at the filesystem you fiddled with.

Wrong. Thes are in the filename records in the ISO9660 filesystem that Grunff is trying to read. The iso9660 kernel module and-or the VFS is getting confused when it sees thes in the names. Look at these

...I've outlined the easy steps already in several posts in this thread; Grunff said they didn't work. I'm still waiting to hear from him about the ISO, but it's getting kind of late and this beer in the fridge isn't going to drink itself, so I'll check again tomorrow morning....
