I use Bank of America. Their latest and greatest ATMs now make the Windows default "donk" sound when you touch the on-screen buttons. I want to stop using their bank JUST BECAUSE OF THAT.

Hatter, your ability to take a simple discussion and turn it into a seven-page tirade will never cease to amaze me.

I fully admit that Flash has capabilities far beyond any competing package for what it does. ActionScript is completely incredible now, and Flash is basically a full-on application development suite at this point. I cannot and would not contest that.

My POINT, if you had read my actual WORDS, rather than inferring whatever you wanted from them, is that Flash will not come to Linux because Linux users comprise the worst user base for Flash as a product, whereas AliasWavefront-Autodesk can afford to make a Maya port to Linux because of the wider adoption of Linux for the desktop in effects houses, and because it costs more per license, which supports such a porting process.
