The website offers Mac OS9 and Win98-Me... 04-30-2006 Linux is Linux and windoze is1 windoze; they don't run the same programs, although some, e.g., OpenOffice, are available for both. You may be able to run some windoze applications under, e.g., WINE. 04-30-2006 SuSE 10 comes with XEN and you can install it from Yast; I'm not sure about the others. Did you just download it, or install it? Did you check whether it appears on your KDE or GNOME menu? What icon? On what desktop? Windoze isn't consistent, even though it only has one desktop to deal with; why would you expect Linux to be consistent? IAC, I find that putting everything on one unorganized desktop makes it harder for me to find applications, and the icons are often obscured by the windows of active applications. 1 Well, sometimes a program written for one version of windoze won't run on a different version, but that's out of scope for this news group. -- Unsolicited bulk E-mail subject to legal action.
