On Fri, 03 Jun 2005 11:01:09 -0700, Noah Roberts I'm not sure I understand what you are saying here? I am buttuming (correct me if I am wrong) that xruns are some kind of overrun? Or is it related to latency? I'm also not certain I understand what you mean by "having the realtime stuff working" ? Is this something different? When I am working, I have Sonar, Soundforge and a slew of plugin applications open at the same time. I also have my email running and my PDA where I keep my track sheets and log of what I have done. I can browse the web using Mozilla with no problems as well. You seem to be indicating that Linux is not able to accomplish this? I don't know, I am asking. What version of Linux are you using? I've thought about trying Linux but after reading the above, it sounds like I will have to learn an entirely new language in order to use it for my audio work. Not that it is a bad thing, but I just don't have the time right now. -- Dana Larsen (Leave one 6 and remove everything after to reply)
