Hi all.

I thought I had this mdadm stuff sussed, until a power failure.

I had a four disk raid 5 array.

When I try to manually start the array I get

mdadm -Adev-md0dev-hdedev-hdgdev-hdidev-hdk mdadm:dev-md0 buttembled from 1 drive - not enough to start the array.

Looking at mdstat I get this

catproc-mdstat Personalities : raid5 md0 : inactive hde0 hdk3 hdi2 hdg1 312602624 blocks

But checking say the first drive, it thinks the array is OK?

mdadm --examinedev-hdedev-hde: Magic : a92b4efc Version : 00.90.01 UUID : 08d77166:535b46cf:bba068 plus 1db:d8b95dfe Creation Time : Mon Mar 21 02:27:34 2005 Raid Level : raid5 Raid Devices : 4 Total Devices : 4 Preferred Minor : 0
