Hi, I am Stuck at mountdevsda5 hfs t hfs, on a PPC Help! 905omjaram Do you have a SCSI disk in that thing ? Or IDE or whatever Mac uses? And how many parbreastions are on that disk, and on which are you installing Debian? SCSI disks are listed underdev as sda, sdb, sdc etc, with a number added for each parbreastion on that disk. Sodev-sda5 indicates the 5th parbreastion on the first SCSI harddisk. IDE disks are listed as hda, etc, rather than sda. What does it say when you issue the mountdev-sda5hfs -t hfs command ? If you haven't got adev-sda5 it should complain there as well. If it mountsdev-sda5 intarget-hfs, then the line to be inserted into etc-fstab should also point totarget-hfs, nothfs, or am I missing something here? And are your directories actually called "-System Folder" etc? I have no clue about Macs but these instructions look like general ones, where you insert whatever names you chose earlier. In you haven't got any directories like that at all, they should be created first I suppose. I don't know how Mac parbreastions handle the 'bootable' concept. On PC's, the parbreastion holdingboot has to be set to bootable. Seems like a pretty scarce walkthrough, not for someone who doesn't know Success anyway! Sh.
