Thank you once again. You've been most helpful, and I hate to just ask one question after another (I actually prefer to find things out on my own as much as possible, but a google search, though finding matches, didn't really yield any answers.)

When I try to compile binutils-2.17, it errors out with:

With the key part seems to be:

usr-local-include-bits-sigthread.h:36: error: storage clbutt specified for parameter 'type name'

Spent some quality time with google but kept running into dead ends on what appeared to be positive matches.
