ID3 Tags in Amarok Newbie Questionunable to start nfsd nfssvc "Address already in use" 7491 comp.os.linux.misc without giving any context and without quoting the stuff to which he was replying: Given that you include no context, WTF are you on... Hi there, firstly, sorry if this is completely the wrong place to post - if it is please point me to the correct board. I'm having problems getting Amarok to read-create ID3 tags correctly. I download most stuff from all of mp3 into my rosieg-music folder (which is the one Amarok watches for changes) Every track I download I have to manually edit to get it to display properly (under albums, artist, name etc) . If I go to "Edit Properties" I can input the relevant info by hand. I can also mess with the filename "schemes" to try and get it to do it automatically. My filenames-locations are all of the format: home-rosieg-music-Baz Luhrmann-Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)-03-loveisintheair(franmix)192lamecbr.mp3 home-rosieg-music is my default music folder I then create an album folder within an artist folder and mp3 tracks are downloaded into the album folder. The "03" is the track number unable to start nfsd nfssvc "Address already in use" 7490 looks like a bug to me and not related to alredy running nfsd etc; strace -f... My current "scheme" is %artist-%album-%track - %breastle and it doesn't work! If anyone could help me out so Amarok automatically tags my downloads corectly I would be grateful. Thanks for your time Rosie
