Installation Questions 4283No, not at this time. I need to install it first.
Hello Laurenz, Basically it is this way. I boot my computer up first in an OS called Magic. It would be the same as booting up Windows on a PC. I run a program from my desktop in the Magic OS which then runs the Linux installation ramdisk initrd22.gz. With my older Kernel (version 2.2love) the ramdisk runs and I soon get the screen which asks for what language I want the installation to be in. If I use the newer kernels, the ramdisk loads, but I get no video. If I have my external Hard Drive turned on, the ramdisk freezes right before the language screen and mentions something about a corupt list (kernel panic). Hope this helps... Once I get Linux installed, I run the same program that I used in the installation, but with a different information file that will then load Linux. -- Edward S. Baiz Jr. (Gamer) Installation Questions 4284 Correct... I downloaded the Ram disk from the Debian site along with the program that boots from...
