Well, sure. I need to constantly find new projects to keep me busy with my Linux systems. Since they always just work, I find myself looking for things to occupy my time and interest.

It's because of Linux that I have all this free time. If I were using Windows, there would always be something for me to deal with - new malware to worry about, defrags, scandisks, potentially harmful updates, finding new ways to make that pig of a platform run faster, mysteriously disappearing USB devices, making sure that *all* my software was up to date, sporadic malfunction of software and hardware, activating and validating software, pop ups, bit rot, unneeded options that mysteriously enable themselves after being disabled, registry hacks, gui tweaks, lock ups, corrupted registries, corrupted filesystems, spontaneous reboots, clearing logs, cleaning temp files, workarounds, driver updates, hotfixes, patches, rebooting, reinstalling, and of course, looking at previews of the next version just hoping it will be better.

Schraalhans Keukenmeester $US$39.95 a month. The equivalent (for downloading) of 10 T-1 connections...

These all are things that I just don't have to do all the time with Linux, which frees up my time for little projects like trying to get Xgl. This is because my platform works for me, not the other way around like with you wintards who actually *paid* for all that hbuttle.

Now, instead of posting crap to usenet, don't you have something that your platform requires you to be doing right now? Hop to, janitor.
