Hi,

I have a MIPS system running kernel 2.4 on a dual core board. While running a test, I get:

back in the linux sadle again
On Mon, 13 Feb 2006 08:33:56 -0800, gentry76 Everything CBFalconer said and more. Read the rather long explanation at the end of this post. Windows has outlook express, which isn't the greatest, but has...

The test has a multi threaded sender that posts char buffers to a queue in one thread, extracts and sends the buffers in another thared, and a receiver that reads the messages. The messages are sent over TCP. As you can see, the process responsible for the problem is the threaded process. I also know it's the thread that's causing the problem (I recognize the thread's PID). Apart from that, I'm not really sure what I'm seeing here.

The system I have has no disk, so after the ensuing Kernel panic, I have no kernel logs. I don't know if they would help at this point.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!
