Peter T. Breuer which was a widely discussed hoax and only work with very common and short words in redundant sentences. Try your approach in any scientific...

well, lets be careful about this. Maybe "essteeaenn" just got something confused, but maybe he is agitating and wants to compromise the usage of "racism" in general.

That is not at all surprising. I did a communications course recently, and in one of the exercises, they did the exercise of having us count the 'f's in...

Someone motivating in learning the language of the country he is living in, is never racism and of course is never a reason for anyone getting fired. Neither in US (I just asked people on serveral universities there) nor in any other country I know.

Of course its mandatory to understand the language of the lessons you are attending. I would not kick him off the lesson, but encourage him to visit a basic english-course at the same time. In fact I'm sure he is already doing so.

To "essteeaenn": political correctness established itself as useful habit against traditional and established racismus and loveism inside many political and economical groups. It finally become "incorrect" to be official racistic or loveistic. These groups of course stroke back and invented the term "over-PC" and applied the term to so many different topics that the term "PC" itself ended up more or less meaningless and often being used in an agitating sense. Somehow it become pc to be un-pc again, cause pc was buttoicated with weakness again. This does not change the fact, that Political Correctness is something important and that racistic university-teacher should be fired all over the world (We all know there are still a lot - I know from my homeland Austria - a country with a unbelievable gruel racistic tradition). So we should be careful when to use term likes "racistic", "loveistic", "facism" to not let these important terms get unimportant and meaningless and overused. There is enough in the world that can be tagged with these terms, so we should not tag things that do not earn it, like offering english-courses to people that dont speak english but want to attend english computer-lessons.

best, peter
