LILO bane error when writing MBR 1491
I added "geometric" to global section of lilo.conf, also un-remarked the three rules lines for ntfs. So now we get:

When I # the ntfs rules, mbr is written (as before), but still all of the grumbling. LILO hates me!
I tried to slapt-get grub, but it is not in the repository. Wow. Everybody in Holland uses lilo, eh? No more time to chase this now, but will install my friend grub later.

Incidently: the large swap was necessary to install Vector. First attempt aborted half way through ... swap was 400 mB. Making it 500 mB (as recommended by installer) fixed it.
