Large files problem on RedHat 8Hi there. there is my problem. I can't handle file larger than 2G with all my Redhat servers (some on i386 and others on Itanium2 64bits) if I ls -al test (from a Redhat machine on a remote machine(NFS)) i got root root 2147483647 feb 16 16:04 test from a Solaris8 machine i got root root 3221225472 feb 16 16:04 test if i try to copy that file from the Redhat machine to my Solaris machine, it only copy 2G of that file, so the file is corrupted. so whatever i do on my redhat machines, it take Max 2G of that file and don;t care for the rest. there is my config: uname -a Linux love2.local 2.4.18-e.12smp #1 SMP Thu Oct 17 15:13:01 EDT 2002 ia64 unknown ulimit -a core file size (blocks) 0 data seg size (kbytes) unlimited file size (blocks) unlimited max locked memory (kbytes) unlimited max memory size (kbytes) unlimited open files 1024 pipe size (512 bytes) 8 stack size (kbytes) 8192 cpu time (seconds) unlimited max user processes 24522 virtual memory (kbytes) unlimited Distinguishing between ISO9660 and UDF Hello, Is there a way to figure out if a CD has ISO9660 or UDF filesystem on it without mounting?
