Floppy boot disk with Redhat Advanced Server 3.2
Dear experts, In previous versions of Linux, I was able to create a floppy boot disk. But, when installing Redhat 3.2 Advanced Server, I was not prompted to create a boot...

Wallace Corpus Here I thought when you bought a computer you can do anything you want with it. Does this mean if I load some software on the computer that it could void my warentee? When did the computer I bought become co-owned by myself and the vendor that made the machine? If the hardware vendor is SO incompetent to kneel before any software vendor, then it's best to look at getting a machine who believes it is yours to do what you will to it. Any vendor who wipes out your hard drive aught to be shot - plane and simple. What would the comeback be from the vendor who did this to you that you lost a week or more worth of data because they wiped it out due to some keyboard problem? Is the company so lazy that instead of keeping your data on the drive to fix a keyboard problem can't put in a temporary hard drive, load the software of their choice, fix the problem, and then re-install your hard drive?

The problem is not Linux, it's your hardware vendor. Just because the vendor does not support the OS, then you must contact the OS vendor for support. Or come here to this newsgroup to get support. Better still RTFM you will become better for it by knowing what is going on in the OS instead of relying on some company that provides you with a four page manual and then if you need support will charge you $89 per hour to answer a simple question.
