Linux and Windows XP on the same PC 2939??? (I.e. what on earth was that all about?)
Linux and Windows XP on the same PC 2940 On Thu, 10 Feb 2005 19:20:41 +0100, Peter T. Breuer An explanation for the way in which I asked my... Please do! Raise some questions about it. I don't claim either knowledge (I hope I have none) or experience (I hope I forget everything as soon as I can). But I don't have ne! It is the OP whose atbreastude is arrogant and supercillious! I'm merely arrogant enough not to adjust to his point of view just because he says I must! I point out that the universe won't do his bidding either, which I would hope enables him to twig what's what. I don't care about motivation in general, but insanity is generally visible when it happens. Of course it does, at least in a technical sense. But I don't see any evidence of illogic in this persons behaviour - quite the opposite; he is impressively logical. Unfortunately his judgments (and this is a technical term relating to the evaluation of the validity of logical steps) are way off. What he needs is a second order logical correction, i.e. he needs telling not to fuss so, because the things he perceives as difficult (why?) are easy. He doesn't have to worry, and if he worries, then he should make a backup.
I am not polite to illogic nor tolerant of it. I would hope you would never be either. Peter
