Linux and audio pro 3806
Perhaps "pro studio" is the wrong term for what it is that we're looking for. We're looking for a blessing from someone (like me, so I've been told) who's well respected in the field of audio recording. This studio that's been singled out for the discussion here doesn't fit that model, so as far as we're concerned, it's just someone who decided to use a Linux system in his business.

I don't see both sides of the Linux audio story yet. Why don't one of you guys write an article in Mix about it? They pay well, and I'm sure that if it was well balanced and well researched, it would be well received. You could look through back issues, find the names of engineers and producers who have been featured in articles in the past ten years or so, and ask them what they think of using a Linux based system in their daily work.
