I can't speak for anyone else, but yes, as a matter of fact: Universal, Warner, Virgin, Sony Columbia and various indies are regular clients. We were the #1 R&B recording studio in the U.S. according to Billboard in 2000, as determined by the total of #1 Singles recorded here. We have several productions charting today in the R&B Singles Top Ten. The "big names" do come here and it's about a 3 week lead time to get in right now. BUT.... that's not what's in question, now is it ? Let's get back on point: Give me 5 facilites with notable artists-producers-engineers using any Linux system as their main tool. Hell, name one number one album in any genre using any Linux based system as it's main tool. Not ready for prime time, is it....?

Now, why don't you name some major music productions, in any style of music, done on a Linux audio system as it's main tool, or 5 major facilites that feature a Linux audio system as its main tool. We are talking professional, I already gave you my credits in many fields of music, so let's hear it. Professionals will readily use the most suitable tools available, often building custom equipment to meet the needs. If Ardour or Audacity were the real deal, they would be in prominent use today. The fact they are nearly invisible speaks for itself. It's not ready for prime time and is more of a playtoy for hackers than a tool for production at this point. Perhaps someday but not right now.
