MIDI files 3074

So in my continuing effort to play MIDI files without having to find out anything about MIDI (which I don't really care about) I installed kmid. This is on Debian testing, using apt-get. It came up with a whole enormous slew of things that had to be upgraded, mostly KDE related.

Well, now I can't get into KDE at all. It tells me that kdmgreet crashes with SIGSEGV signal 11. I'm attaching the backtrace in case anyone knows enough about KDE to be able to tell me what's going on. Possibly libstdc++ needed to be upgraded too, and didn't get upgraded, or libkdecore, or something like that?
