When you use the text tool, enable the "Use Dynamic Text" checkbox, and you'll be able to edit it at any time in the future, after applying any kind of effect - including rotation. Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger Anything similar on Linux 3683 On 19 May 2005 12:01:10 -0700, Aquila Deus staggered into the Black Sun and said: snip kdesdk-3.4.0 can be built with support for a subversion IOSlave. It'll be a little while... VMware Wrong. It's GTK based. Not gnome based. It's built with the GTK toolkit. The Gnome Desktop Environment is not a requirement.
What exactly is the KDE file manager missing? Strange that. With the GTK QT Theme Engine, all GTK apps look like QT apps, and thus fit in perfectly with the K Desktop Environment. In fact I'm running PAN now under KDE 3.4 and it looks exactly like a regular KDE application. Summarising, you didn't know how to edit text after rotating it in Gimp so you buttumed you couldn't. You didn't know that all GTK-GTK2 apps could be made to look like QT apps (same colours & widgets according to the current KDE theme)...and therefore jumped to the conclusion that Gnome-GTK apps couldn't visually integrate with KDE....including VMWare which you seem to think requires Gnome. Au contraire, au contraire, au contraire! If any other chasms in your Linux knowledge need filling, do embarrbutt yourself with some more fallacious buttertions. -- Walker Moore
